Insert Random String

This option can create a string with vertices at any screen position,
not just on existing points.
If you don't click on a point, a point will be inserted automatically.

Name
Enter the name of the string.

Type
Choose the string type from the drop down list

Layer
The string layer can any layer in the job, it is best to place all strings or a group of strings onto the same layer. Select the layer for the string from the drop down list of layers.

Point
Each time that a point is clicked or created it will be displayed in the Pt No box.

End String
This button terminates the string and stores the string into the job.

Close String
This will add a line to the start of the string and end the string.

Undo Segment
Use the Undo Segment button to delete the last line segment.
You can delete segments repeatedly until you reach the beginning of the string.
